Batman Beyond was a beloved animated series that may finally be coming to the big screen in live action!

Thomas du Crest recently uploaded some concept art to his Instagram depicting Batman Beyond reimagined within the Nolan trilogy universe which show off an interesting new Batsuit design.

What do the photos suggest? Well, the Nolan universe could be expanded upon and follow the story of Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character, John Blake whose alter-ego is Robin. In his posts, Crest cited the Nolan-directed trilogy as the main inspiration for the artwork.

Given the lack of information regarding Robert Pattison’s upcoming Batman project, The Batman and the fact that the art used JGL’s likeness, it could totally be plausible that a live-action Batman Beyond film is in the works.
